What Makes Magnets So Magical?

The alternating exhibits on the magnet wall offer kids a place to test out physics and design simple structures. Different STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) concepts are intersecting on the magnet wall, allowing kids to test the results of different combinations of materials. Sparking curiosity in STEAM at an early age encourages learning throughout life.

Although you may not have magnets like ours available in your everyday life, there are plenty of simple options for kids to learn and practice similar concepts.

Tools needed:

  1. Pool noodles

  2. Painters tape (regular tape works as well)

  3. Marble

  4. Scissors optional

Pool noodles can be cut and constructed to form pathways for a rolling marble or other small ball
