We are committed to Accessability
All Access/Museums for All Program:
We believe that everyone deserves to learn through play in an environment like ours. Our All Access/Museums for All program is a need-based fee system for daily admission and membership for visitors with financial constraints. We will not turn any child and their caregiver away due to the inability to pay the admission fee. To utilize this program, ask for the All Access admission rate when you check in at the Welcome Center. We do not require documentation. Find other children’s museums in the Museums for All program here.

Wheelchair and Physical Accessibility
Explore Children’s Museum is a one-story space with accessible doorways, drinking fountains, and bathrooms. Handicap parking spaces are located next to our main entrance. The women’s restroom is also equipped with an adult-sized changing table that is height adjustable.
Sensory Accessibility
We want all our visitors to be comfortable, regulated and enjoy learning through play. Accommodation Kits, complete with noise-blocking headphones, fidget toys, visual timers, and soothing brushes, are available at the Welcome Desk for use during your museum visit.
The Zen Den
The Zen Den is a designated quiet space intended for feeding babies, managing sensory overload or tantrums, or any other reason you may need a quiet space. The Zen Den is equipped with sensory toys and comfortable seating.
The area is not open for free play and should be left available to those who need the space.
Our goal is to make everyone’s museum experience engaging, joyful, and meaningful. We understand that some guests need extra support to participate in play in the museum setting.
At this time we do not offer Sensory Friendly Hours, however the museum is typically quieter on weekday afternoons.
