Celebrate childhood doing what kids love best - play! Explore Children’s Museum is hosting Kids Fest 2025. Kids Fest is an event that brings the community together for some fun - there will be museum exhibits, music, bubbles, food trucks, and a grand finale Color Splash party! Round up the fun kids (and grown ups!) in your life and come on by.

No admission fee for Kids Fest, Entrance Ticket required to participate in the Color Splash Party from 12:30pm-1pm (more information and ticket link below)
Food Trucks will be available to purchase coffee, baked goods, and lunch options

What is a color splash party?!
Our annual Color Splash party is wild, messy, colorful fun! At the Color Splash Party participants splash colorful chalk all over one another by throwing “Splash Packs”. “Splash Packs” are small porous muslin bags filled with colorful chalk powder. Color Splash party participants throw the “Splash Packs” at one another to cover each other in beautiful hues of color!
The “Splash Packs” can be thrown 10-15 times. The colorful chalk is non-toxic and environmentally safe. It is similar to dust or dirt when inhaled. Colorful chalk washes off with soap and water. Sunglasses should be worn during the event to protect eyes.
Color Splash Party pre-sale entrance tickets - $10 for children and $5 for adults - will be on sale June 1 - July15 - save money by buying ahead of time!
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the event for $15/child and $10/adult.
Color Splash Party entrance tickets includes entrance to the Color Splash Party, three splash packs, one pair of sunglasses, and one white event tee shirt. Pre sale tickets cost is $10 for children and $5 for adults. Each Color Splash Party participate will be required to purchase a ticket. Color Splash Party Packages will be picked up at Kids Fest prior to the Color Splash Party.
Please note: T-shirt size guaranteed if Color Splash Party entrance tickets purchased before June 27, 2025. Pre-sale for Color Splash entrance tickets ends on July 15, 2025.
Save money by purchasing your Color Splash Party entrance tickets ahead of time! Entrance tickets will be available for purchase at the event and will cost $15/child and $10/adult. There will be a limited number of Color Splash Party Packages available for purchase at the event.
