Explore Children’s Museum’s Annual Events

Kids Fest is a celebration of kids!

This free event includes Explore Children’s Museum exhibits, music, bubbles, food trucks with food for purchase, and will conclude with our annual Color Splash party!

The Color Splash party is wild, messy, colorful fun! At the Color Splash Party participants splash colorful chalk all over one another by throwing “Splash Packs”. “Splash Packs” are small porous muslin bags filled with colorful chalk powder. Color Splash party participants throw the “Splash Packs” at one another to cover each other in beautiful hues of color!

Kids Fest 2025 will be on Saturday July 26 from 10am-1pm at Wetmore Park. Keep an eye on our monthly e-newsletter, our Facebook and Instagram pages, and on site at Explore Children’s Museum for more information!

We can’t wait to see you there!

Night at the Museum is a celebration of our mission!

Night at the Museum is a fun and fabulous adult-only evening of socializing with friends, old and new, at Explore Children’s Museum where adults have fun playing, too!

This year’s theme is “Adventure Awaits”. Their world is yours to explore with an impact video, entertainment, a silent auction, paddle raise, heavy hors d'oeuvres from Buck ‘n Honey’s, beer, wine and a specialty cocktail - an aperol spritz!

Adventure Awaits will be Explore Children's Museum's 3rd annual Night at the Museum event and it is our largest fundraising event of the year.

Tickets are limited - you don’t want to miss this one! Tickets on sale starting in November 2024.
