About the Forest
The Brick Forest is our open brick building area where kids can build and create stories. While building, kids experiment and develop important life skills like patience and creative problem solving. Kids can build individual structures both horizontally and vertically. This site helps children refine muscles, fine motor skills, dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.

Much like art activities available in the studio, building in the brick forest is much more about the creation process rather than the final product. To better understand what your child is thinking and feeling as they build, ask them what they are working on and how things might change by adding, removing, or replacing blocks.
